Sharon Obialo is an Associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Technology and Digital Transactions Practice. She focuses her practice on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, early-stage company/venture capital-backed transactions, technology communications, venture financings, IPOs and securities offerings, as well as technology transactions including licensing deals and privacy and data security matters.
She also has an active pro-bono practice representing non-profit and small business clients in corporate governance matters.
Sharon attended Columbia Law School where she served as Editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and the Arts and studied abroad at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and at Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po). She completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University, where she studied Psychology, Political Science and Latin American Studies.
Sharon speaks conversational Spanish and French.
