Melissa A. Raggi is an Associate in the Litigation Department of Kaye Scholer’s Washington, DC office. Since joining the firm, she has focused her practice in white collar litigation representing a major multinational company under investigation by the United States Government.
Prior to joining Kaye Scholer, Melissa served as a law clerk to the Honorable R. David Proctor of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. While clerking, Melissa worked on a trial, assisted at court hearings and conferences, and drafted opinions and memoranda on various subjects. Melissa also was an associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in New York City, where she represented a financial institution in a multiagency government investigation.
Melissa earned her JD from the New York University School of Law. While there, she served as a legal intern in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Melissa received her undergraduate degree from Duke University.
