Kurt Skonberg is a partner in the Structured Finance Group. Mr. Skonberg's career has largely been devoted to the representation of lenders in domestic and cross-border asset-backed securitizations. He has extensive experience in the representation of commercial paper conduits. Mr. Skonberg has participated in transactions involving the securitization of diverse asset types, including motion picture portfolios, aircraft lease receivables, equipment lease receivables, various trade receivables, rent-a-car lease receivables, commercial mortgage loan receivables, timeshare receivables, lottery receivables, franchise loan receivables and auto loan receivables. Mr. Skonberg also has substantial experience in whole business securitization and equipment leasing.
Mr. Skonberg joined Kaye Scholer in 1993. Prior to joining Kaye Scholer, Mr. Skonberg was a certified public accountant with a major accounting firm.
Mr. Skonberg is also an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School where he teaches a class on securitization.
