Kacy Elizabeth Wiggum is an Associate in the Product Liability Department of the New York office of Kaye Scholer. Ms. Wiggum’s practice focuses primarily on complex litigation, government investigations and regulatory compliance. Her experience includes representation of pharmaceutical companies in multidistrict litigation involving failure to warn allegations and government investigations of alleged healthcare fraud. She has also assisted in reviewing compliance programs and counseling clients on applicable state and federal regulations. In addition, Ms. Wiggum has represented clients in white collar SEC and CFTC investigations and contributed to the Employment Law Deskbook for Human Resources Professionals on emerging areas in arbitration law.
Ms. Wiggum’s pro bono experience includes assisting the national advocacy group, Children’s Rights, in litigating a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of children living in unsafe, unsupervised and unstable conditions in Oklahoma’s child welfare system.
Ms. Wiggum received a B.A. in Communications from Lewis and Clark College, where she received national recognition for achievement in parliamentary debate. She received her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law where she was a Kinoy-Stavis Fellow and Editor-in-Chief of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter.
