“Taking Advantage of Low Carbon and Major Infrastructure Opportunities Arising Out of the US Stimulus Package” (Pinsent Masons Breakfast Briefing, London)

Thursday, July 23, 2009

Gary Gartner, Richard Smolev, Madeleine Tan and William Tanenbaum teamed with Paul Rice from Pinsent Masons to present "Taking advantage of low carbon and major infrastructure opportunities arising out of the US stimulus package," at Pinsent's London office.

The $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 ("ARRA") offers UK/EU companies substantial opportunities. Companies are invited to form joint ventures and/or acquire US organisations and take advantage of the grants, tax credits and loans set aside for projects in transportation infrastructure, renewable and alternative energy, smart building technology and utility projects.

The breakfast program discussed how companies can benefit from the ARRA, and provided information on how to network with other organisations looking to take advantage of these opportunities.
