Sandra Pfister is a Partner and a German-qualified corporate finance lawyer in Kaye Scholer’s Finance group. Ms. Pfister has extensive experience advising both banks and borrowers on a wide variety of corporate and structured finance transactions, including acquisition finance (both public bids and leveraged acquisitions), syndicated and bilateral lending, project finance, real estate finance, debt restructurings and Schuldschein loans (loan notes), as well as other general banking matters, both cross-border and in Germany. Additionally, her experience includes international debt and equity capital markets transactions such as corporate bond offerings (including high yields, LYONs, convertible and exchangeable bonds), IPOs, dual listings (including on NASDAQ), rights offerings and mandatory bids.

Ingrid Kalisch (06/05/13)

Ingrid Kalisch is a Partner and German-qualified corporate finance lawyer in Kaye Scholer’s Frankfurt office. Ms. Kalisch has extensive experience advising both banks and borrowers on a wide range of German and international corporate and structured finance transactions, including acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance, Schuldschein loans, ECA covered loans, general transactional banking, syndicated and bilateral loan agreements, as well as the restructuring of such transactions. In addition, she has experience in asset-related transactions, and tax efficient and off balance sheet financing. She also advises sellers and purchasers of distressed debt. A particular focus of her practice is on energy and infrastructure, including the financing of wind energy projects, German federal motorway PPP projects, public buildings and healthcare projects.

Jeffrey Chester is a Partner in the Los Angeles office and heads the firm’s Renewable Energy Project Finance and Development practice, focusing on wind and solar energy development, construction, tax structuring and project finance. In renewable energy transactions, Jeff regularly represents developers, sponsors, lenders and investors.

Michael C. Mulitz (05/30/13)

Michael Mulitz is a Partner in the Finance Department, Chair of the Aviation Finance and Leasing Group, and a member of the Transportation Asset Finance Group. He concentrates on commercial and corporate jet aircraft transactions, with extensive experience in the structuring, drafting and negotiation of financing and leasing transactions (including tax-based leveraged and cross-border leasing, operating leases, PDP financings, portfolio securitizations and ECA financings) on behalf of banks, leasing companies, financial institutions, hedge and private equity funds and other companies acting as debt and equity participants, lessors, lessees, operating lessors, owner trustees, indenture/loan trustees, guarantors, airframe and engine manufacturers, management and remarketing agents and purchasers and sellers of equipment involving commercial, private and cargo aircraft and aircraft engines and spare parts. He also has significant experience in fleet financing, acquisition and financing of business jet aircraft, fractional interest ownership and time-share programs.

Madeleine M.L. Tan (05/30/13)

Madeleine Tan is a Partner in Kaye Scholer’s Finance group and is Co-Head of the firm’s Project Finance Practice. She has extensive experience advising investors, lenders, sponsors and underwriters in equity investments, capital markets debt offerings, tax-equity and structured finance transactions. Madeleine has been lead counsel on a broad range of transactions including project finance transactions, leveraged leases, single investor leases, capital markets offerings and privately negotiated debt instruments. She is recognized by Chambers Global 2013 as a “Foreign Expert” for USA Capital Markets Securitization and as an “Expert Based Abroad” for Australia Capital Markets.
