She represents corporate, strategic, private equity and venture capital clients in acquisitions, divestitures, investments and joint venture transactions. Many of the private equity transactions involve complex governance and liquidity rights in control and non-control situations. She also has experience in acquisitions and restructuring of financially-distressed companies.

A significant focus of her practice is cross-border acquisitions and investments. She has extensive experience representing foreign companies in acquisition and investment transactions in the U.S. requiring government approvals, including those involving Exon-Florio reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (“CFIUS”).

Ms. Fuchs serves as general counsel for the North American operations of a European client that acquires and operates marine, industrial valve, and material handling distribution equipment companies, and is a member of the board of directors of its U.S. holding company.

Ms. Fuchs’ work involves a broad array of industries, including pharmaceutical and medical devices, aerospace and defense, machinery and equipment, and infrastructure.

Ms. Fuchs has been recognized as a Leading Individual and noted for her “deep expertise” in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2010) and (2011). Clients interviewed by Chambers praised Ms. Fuchs as “good at flying at 30,000 ft or operating at ground level; she understands the whole deal process, while remaining detail-oriented and able to debate her point with the opposition.” According to a Chambers source, Ms. Fuchs “ensures her clients are receiving the highest level of service and expertise.”
