Karin Garvey has a general litigation practice with considerable experience in antitrust, commercial litigation and real estate litigation issues. She has practiced before both state and federal courts as well as the Federal Trade Commission, and has also participated in alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation.
全部显示Ms. Garvey has represented leading companies in the private equity, banking, pharmaceutical, film, music and cosmetics industries. On behalf of these clients, she has worked on all phases of the litigation process, including motion practice, discovery and trial work, as well as work on the appellate level. Recently, Ms. Garvey has represented a cosmetics manufacturer in a class action lawsuit alleging price-fixing, a pharmaceutical company in another price-fixing case, a film company and a private equity firm in a restraint of trade suit, and a music company in a large commercial real estate dispute.
Ms. Garvey is an active participant in the firm. She currently serves on the firm's Recruiting Committee and has previously served on the firm's Diversity and Associate Development Committees. She is committed to pro bono legal services, having represented clients in matters ranging from voting rights to housing disputes.
