Jennifer Patterson practices complex commercial litigation, focusing in antitrust. She has handled a wide range of litigations from inception through trial and post-trial proceedings, as well as appeals. Her experience in complex litigation complements her work with clients in evaluating the antitrust aspects of and seeking clearance for mergers and in conducting internal investigations. Ms. Patterson has counseled and represented clients in such industries as rail freight transportation, commercial real estate development, biometrics, pharmaceuticals, poultry breeding, food additives, pesticides, publishing, aircraft parts, optical film, insurance and flat glass manufacturing.
全部显示Ms. Patterson has defended major U.S. and foreign corporations in private price-fixing class actions and in related enforcement proceedings by state attorneys general; defended a pharmaceutical company against a whistleblower’s allegations of financial improprieties; defended a real estate developer against breach of contract claims by a would-be partner; represented a national consumer products company suing a competitor for antitrust violations arising from point-of-sale merchandising practices; conducted worldwide analyses of pre-merger notification requirements in connection with various corporate transactions, and acted as coordinating counsel for all necessary filings; obtained disgorgement of profits from unauthorized use of trade secrets and otherwise investigated and enforced former employees’ obligations to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information; and has overseen the taking of evidence in the United States for use in foreign proceedings and abroad for use in the United States.
