Susan Rahm joined Kaye Scholer as a partner in 1982. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ms. Rahm worked for the D.C. Redevelopment Land Agency and the New York State Urban Development Corporation.
全部显示During her years of legal practice, she handled almost all aspects of real estate development, ownership and investment for both U.S. and foreign clients. Although she was primarily a real estate lawyer, the needs of her clients expanded her practice so that, with the assistance of others in the firm, she counseled on tax, labor and corporate matters for these clients as well.
Ms. Rahm handled acquisitions and dispositions, partnerships and corporate ownership, new construction and renovations, leasing for landlords and tenants, financings for lenders and borrowers, and ongoing management issues. This involved hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, apartment complexes, factories, warehouses and mixed-use projects.
In 1999, Ms. Rahm was honored as "Woman of the Year" by Commercial Real Estate Women (now known as WX). In 2000 she was named one of the "Women Real Estate Leaders for the 21st Century" by the Association of Real Estate Women and in 2003, she was given its Outstanding Woman of Achievement Award.
Ms. Rahm is actively involved in professional and community organizations. She has served on the Board of Directors of Girls, Incorporated and was President and a Director of Commercial Real Estate Women--New York.
