Peter B. Silverman’s practice is focused on trial and appellate civil litigation, with a concentration in intellectual property matters and patent litigation for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, agricultural, chemical manufacturing and electronics companies.
全部显示In his years with the firm, Mr. Silverman has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants at all stages of trial litigation and on appeal. He has also conducted intellectual property opinion work and pre-complaint counseling for a wide array of complex matters. In addition, Mr. Silverman has second-seated oral argument before the New York State Court of Appeals and drafted briefs for the New York State Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit and District Courts of Massachusetts, Southern District of New York, and Eastern District of Missouri.
Mr. Silverman joined Kaye Scholer in 2005. In 2006, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Anne E. Thompson of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, before returning to the firm in 2007. In 2008, Mr. Silverman served as pro bono deputy counsel for the New York City Law Department, Brooklyn Torts Division, where he took and defended numerous depositions on behalf of the city in various tort actions.
