Mr. Stillufsen is a member of the firm’s Life Sciences practice group and focuses his practice on pharmaceutical product liability actions. He has been a key member of a virtual law firm representing AstraZeneca in parallel federal and state court proceedings. He recently played a central role on the trial team that won a defense verdict in the first Seroquel case to go to trial. Mr. Stillufsen was responsible for preparing company witnesses to testify at the trial. He was also responsible for preparing FDA expert witnesses to testify at trial in both the state and federal proceedings.

Mr. Stillufsen has also been extensively involved in the firm’s pro bono program. He was co-first chair in a three month-long trial involving a not-for-profit corporation in New York state court. In addition, he was lead counsel in a sex discrimination case in federal court that ultimately settled with significant injunctive relief for our clients.
