Tanenbaum, Partner in the GreenTech Group and Chair of Technology, Intellectual Property & Outsourcing Practice, gave a PLI webcast titled "New Roles for IT as Companies Go Green: Reducing Energy Costs; Enabling Corporate Sustainability Projects; and Using Outsourcing to Reduce Carbon Footprints" on March 11, 2009. The seminar addressed the new role that IT staff will play as their companies begin implementing sustainability programs, lowering the cost of electrical power and reducing the scope of their carbon footprints.
