“Negotiating the M&A Deal: A Mock Negotiation of a Corporate Acquisition” (Stanford Law School, Stanford, CA)

On February 8, 2012, Joel I. Greenberg, Senior Corporate Partner of the Corporate Department, will serve on a panel with a group of seasoned mergers and acquisitions attorneys from major law firms across the country to stage an interactive "mock negotiation" at Stanford Law School. The panelists will attempt to illustrate the “give-and-take” in a negotiation of a contentious corporate acquisition, stepping out of character frequently during the course of their presentation to explain their negotiating positions and strategies and to respond to questions from the audience.
