Hartmut Renz Speaks on Interface Management of Compliance Functions, Internal Revisions and Risk Management in Banks and in Industry (Frankfurt)

Hartmut T. Renz, Counsel in the Kaye Scholer Frankfurt office, spoke on the topic of interface management of compliance functions, internal revisions and risk management at the 5th Anti-Corruption and Compliance Summit. He demonstrated the assignments of compliance functions in banks in comparison to the assignments in other industries. Furthermore, he described the specifics of a liability situation of a compliance officer in regards to non-action (criminal guarantor status) as well as the liability of the management team in the case of inadequate compliance.
