New York: Experienced structured finance lawyer Lawton Camp has joined Kaye Scholer as a Finance Partner in its New York office.

He also will enhance the breadth of our Canada practice, which currently advises Canadian companies on a wide range of cross-border transactional issues.”

Camp has a broad range of structured finance and securitization experience, including representing underwriters and other arrangers, originators and issuers, credit enhancers, and investors in a wide variety of securitizations, structured products and covered bonds. “Our Finance Department focuses on five core practices for our clients: Structured Finance & Derivatives, Syndicated & Leveraged Finance, Asset Finance & Leasing, Project Finance and Bank Regulation, which is rapidly expanding to respond to increased regulation in the US, UK, EU, Canada and elsewhere,” said New York Partner Henry Morriello, Chair of Kaye Scholer’s Finance Department. “Lawton’s international background and capabilities complement and enhance our practices perfectly, not only given his focus on structured products and derivatives, but also as one of the leading attorneys advising on the covered bond market, and whose knowledge in the area of bank regulation is helping clients identify viable alternative structures for transactions in the wake of various regulatory measures. Also, Lawton’s experience with respect to EETC transactions will bolster our highly recognized aviation finance work.”
