Jungermann Quoted in German Compliance Magazine

Dr. Sebastian Jungermann (Partner, Litigation, Frankfurt Office) has been interviewed and quoted in the article "Aroused" (Wachgeruettelt) in the German Compliance magazine. The article deals with a recent decision of the German Federal Court of Justice that a Compliance Officer has a special duty to avoid criminal offenses actively. Sebastian analyzed the court's decision and explained to the author several issues regarding the duties and responsibilities of a Compliance Officer and the risk inherent in failing to report certain issues within a company to its management in proper form.
