Alan Rothman Authors Article on "Mass Action" Provisions of the Class Action Fairness Act

Alan E. Rothman, Coordinating Attorney for the Product Liability Practice Group, authored the article titled "CAFA: Finding a Method to the Madness of 'Mass Actions'" that appeared in the May 2007 issue of Product Liability Law & Strategy. Mr. Rothman writes about the difficulties which courts and practitioners alike confront in finding clarity in the "mass action" provisions of the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005 (CAFA), which have been described as "bewildering," "clumsy" and a source of "confusion."
