Jesch Co-Edits German Legal Handbook for Real Estate Investments — Schneider Contributes Chapter on U.S. Country Report

Thomas A. Jesch is co-editor of the new legal handbook for real estate investments, "Rechtshandbuch Immobilien-Investitionen," published August 31, 2009 by Munich-based C.H. Beck.  The 828-page volume includes a detailed legal, tax and balance sheet analysis of common investment vehicles such as  open-end funds, closed-end funds and REITs and their respective investments/divestments.  A section on outbound investments includes 29 country reports.  The U.S. country report has been authored by Willys H. Schneider.  The panel of 77 authors includes practitioners from BHF Immobilien, the Federal Ministry of Finance, IVG Immobilien, Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investments and Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie.
